Below you will see classes assigned grade-level groupings, but we know that each child is on their own personal journey. If there is a class that your learner would like to take, but doesn't fit the age parameters and you feel they would have the maturity thrive in that class, please reach out to the instructor to see if they would be willing to enroll your student.

Mastermind STEM Challenges

In this dynamic STEM class, students PreK through 6th grades will engage in hands-on design and engineering projects that integrate physical science, life science, and earth and space science concepts. Challenges such as moving water from one container to another without pouring, or growing a plant without soil. This class excites learners about STEM while fostering creativity, and promoting practical problem-solving in a futuristic context.

Fun Fit Warrior Challenge

Fun Fit Warrior Challenge is an action-packed tumbling class where kids unleash their inner warriors through flips, rolls, and obstacle course challenges. Designed to build strength, coordination, and confidence, this class combines gymnastics basics with fun, dynamic activities that keep kids moving and motivated

Winter Watercolor

Join us as we create the most stunning winter watercolor landscapes! In this six week class we will add new elements to our watercolor creations such as salt, cotton, and multiple textured elements to bring a new skill to any watercolor painting. From the northern lights to a cozy cottage, we will paint beautiful pieces of art that most certainly can be framed for all to enjoy!

Oh My!

Calling all 4-7 year-olds for a creative hour of musical play! This is an ideal age for developing the building blocks of musical skills. Singing together will help students develop pitch and knowledge of scales and intervals. Students will learn their do-re-mi’s and their musical 1-2-3’s, preparing them to play a musical instrument. Through movement, clapping, and percussion, we will build a foundation for rhythm. Creative flow in dance develops musicality and rhythm beautifully, all while students have fun and express themselves!

Clay Creations

Kickstart Fitness: Stronger Bodies & Minds

Writing with Whimsy: IEW

In this class, students will work through lessons from the Institute for Excellence in Writing text, Ancient History-Based Writing Lessons. Each week will introduce a new writing technique in fun, easy-to-learn, and interactive ways. Each session of classes will build on the previous session, so a full year of class is encouraged, but not required. Students will be equipped and encouraged to complete a writing assignment at home each week to present with the class. Each writing  assignment is based on a topic from ancient history, and can usually fulfill charter requirements for both history and writing.

Gooey, Gummy, Sticky & Funny Part 2: GLOW SCIENCE

Perform the magic of mime illusions that make the invisible visible. I'll share with you the secrets I learned while studying with the great French mime, Marcel Marceau, and many others. Are you a poet and don’t yet know it? :) Since ancient times, people have expressed their ideas and feelings through poetry. It is an enduring art form. We will take inspiration from poems throughout history, sampling from the poetic masters. Discussions are rich when the ideas are timeless and there is literary artistry to savor! Also on our agenda is learning and practicing poetic techniques, including rhythm, structure, symbolism, and imagery. Join Portfolio Pioneers: Website Building for Young Creatives and unlock the skills to create your very own online portfolio using Wix or Squarespace's free versions! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to take professional-quality photos for portraits and products, import, export, and edit these photos, and upload and embed them on their website. They'll discover how to organize and store their images efficiently. The portfolio segment will guide students in writing compelling bios, captions, and descriptions, embedding external links like YouTube videos, and designing an appealing layout. Additionally, students will explore e-commerce by creating a storefront to sell their products, mastering product photography, naming and describing items, and using AI tools like ChatGPT to generate engaging product descriptions. Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's Functional Training

Functional training is a classification of exercise we do at our academy, Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, which involves training the body to be physically fit and ready for the activities of self-defense and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It uses the full body, engaging multiple muscles, especially the core. The class focuses on core, balance, strength, cardio, and endurance, all with the concept to engage the body, being fit, and ready it for self-defense protection and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. You can expect to exercise using medicine balls, plyometric boxes, battle ropes, Bosu balls, and more.
